Susan Spicer has been raising sheep, horses and dogs at her home in Yorba Linda since the 1980's. Her dedication and love of animals has taken her to the Arabian Horse Nationals, competing in Dressage, and she has been involved locally with 4-H projects and Therapy Dogs International. She has been a volunteer puppy raiser and mentor for Canine Companions for Independence since 1996, not only raising puppies, but giving lectures and demonstrations to Elks, Kiwanis, schools, churches and scouting groups.
